A 20-year-old woman, studying fashion designing, who was riding a two-wheeler on Koramangala ring road, was allegedly intercepted by two motorcycle-borne persons and molested on Tuesday, which has come to light now.
Adding to her woes, the accused allegedly passed lewd comments on her. The victim, who stays in a paying guest accommodation in Fraser Town, was on her way from the college to Indiranagar.
Even though she suspected that two motorcycle-borne men were following her, she tried to ignore them. However, the duo came closer to her and sought her attention. As soon as she stopped her vehicle, the rider molested her. The incident happened at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim could not note down the number of the motorcycle, as she was shocked and embarrassed, the police said.

She called up her friends and went to Indiranagar police station to report the incident.
A woman police came along with her and inspected the spot and requested the victim to lodge a complaint with Vivek Nagar police station as it was in their jurisdiction. Vivek Nagar police have taken up the case and looking for CCTV footage to identify the culprits.
