A 33-year-old woman and her children - one year old twins - were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their house in Sreenivasanagar here in the wee hours of Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Asha and her daughters Aradhya and Ahana. Asha’s husband Harish claimed that his wife had jumped into the plastic water tank on their terrace along with their children late Friday night.
However, Asha’s relatives have lodged a complaint alleging murder against Harish. Police said that Harish himself had called Asha’s relatives informing them that the three were found dead in the tank. However, when the police rushed to the house, the bodies were found on the bed in their house.

Based on the allegations of Asha’s relatives, the police have arrested Harish. A case of dowry death and murder has been booked against him by the Hanumanthanagar police.
