With the CM’s visit comes traffic jams

The ‘Bengaluru round’ did end up becoming a virtual darshan of the city, causing lengthy traffic snarls at most spots. The long convoy that followed the Chief Minister took numerous unscheduled stops, where hordes of supporters garlanded Siddaramaiah.

One of the longer halts was at the busy K.R. Puram junction, where bands of Congress workers felicitated Mr. Siddaramaiah. For nearly ten minutes around 7.30 p.m., the convoy blocked the junction as workers burst crackers. Similarly, he was received by supporters at the junction of ITPL Main Road and Outer Ring Road, Ramamurthy underpass on ORR, and Horamavu.
