Water supply to be hit today

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board is undertaking meter fixing work under the Unaccounted for Water project on Saturday at V.V. Puram service station, South West-1 Sub Division.

Hence, water will not be supplied to areas coming under V.V. Puram Service station limits, such as Chalavadipalya, Devaraj Urs Nagara, Ramapura Police Quarters, TCM Raman Road, Binnypet, Kempapura Agrahara, V.S. Garden; P.K. Quarters of Magadi Road service Station area, Ward Nos. 136, 137 and 138 and some areas of Chamarajpet, said BWSSB in a release.

36 hours

Water supply to four locations near West of Chord Road will be affected on Saturday and Sunday, as the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board is working on a feeder line under Unaccounted for Water – D2A project on Saturday.

According to a press release, since the work is expected to be extended for the second day, water supply will be affected for nearly 36 hours in North West 2 sub-divisional jurisdiction.

Supply will be stopped to Kamakshipalya, Basaveshwara Nagara, Shivanagara, Mahalakshmipura, A.D. Halli, Rajajinagar Sixth Block, Kurubarahalli and Nagpura areas, the press release stated.
