Of the five persons of a family who suffered burns in an explosion triggered by LPG cylinder leakage on Thursday in Gopalpura, two members identified as Umadevi (42) and her son Bhaskar (13) died at Victoria Hospital on Sunday.
The other injured are Umadevi’s husband, Narasimha, and their daughter Hemavathy (16) and physically challenged son Venkatesh (18). While Narasimha and Hemavathy have been discharged from hospital, Venkatesh is in critical condition, according to the police.
