Two high school students drown in Rajanukunte lake

Two high school students who went to swim in Rajanukunte lake on Tuesday were drowned.

They have been identified as Manohar and Nagraj, both studying SSLC in Rajanukunte High School.

The duo, along with other boys, bunked class and went to swim. The incident came to light when others who noticed the duo drown ran to seek help from passers-by.

The police rushed to the spot and summoned professional divers, but it was too late.

After two hours of search the bodies were recovered from the lake and sent to Doddaballapura hospital for autopsy.
