The Public Sector Enterprises Selection Board on Monday named T.Suvarna Raju as the next Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
R.K.Tyagi, the present Chairman of the Rs. 15,000 crore defence PSU, is due to superannuate at the end of January 2015.
Mr. Raju, currently Director (Design & Development), was chosen from among five contenders after interviews were held in the morning.

A PESB notification said the other candidates were V.M.Chamola, Director (HR) and S.Subrahmanyam, Managing Director (MiG), both from HAL; Umesh Chandra, Executive Director, BEML; and Air Marshal R.K.Dhir from the Ministry of Defence.
