Three people end lives in city

Three persons allegedly committed suicide in Bangalore since Friday night.

A 36-year-old lab technician committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Bapujinagar. The body of Ravikumar, who was working in a private hospital on Bannerghatta Road, was found by his wife, Kalavathi, on Saturday morning.

On Friday night, Ravikumar had gone along with his wife and two children to his relative’s house in Chandra Layout but had returned home alone as his family stayed back. When he did not respond to Kalavathi’s calls on Saturday morning, she rushed home only to see Ravikumar hanging, according to the Byatarayanapura police. In a suicide note, Ravikumar had stated that no one was to be blamed for his death, the police said.

The police are yet to ascertain the exact reason for his suicide.

Plumber

A 30-year-old plumber committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near the railway line in Okalipuram on Friday night. The Sheshadripuram police, who were alerted by passersby, identified him as Lingaraju, a resident of Kottigepalya.

A 30-year-old man was found unconscious in the burial ground at Byatarayanapura on Friday. The Byatarayanapura police said Bhagyaraju had consumed poison. He was taken to Victoria Hospital where he died on Friday night. The police said Bhagyaraju was a resident of Chamarajpet and was working as a clerk at a private company on M.G. Road.
