Three arrested on charge of running prostitution racket

The Central Crime Branch sleuths on Friday conducted a raid at a house in Hoskerehalli and arrested three women for allegedly running a prostitution racket . Two women, aged 22 and 23, who claimed to be Kannada serial artistes, were rescued from the house.The arrested have been identified as Pushpa (36), Savitha (35) and Vijaya alias Girija (35). They were booked under sections Indian Penal Code (IPC) 370 and under Immoral Traffic Prevention Act (ITP Act).

A case has been registered at the Girinagar police station .
