The Hindu Young World Quiz on Feb. 5

The 19th edition of the event will be held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall

The bright young minds of the city will get another opportunity to engage in an exciting battle of wits at the 19th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz to be held on February 5 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Malleswaram.

The competition is open to students in two categories. Students from classes 4 to 6 can participate in the juniors category and those from classes 7 to 10 in the seniors category. Each team must consist of two members for each category, any bona fide team from a school can take part by paying a non-refundable registration fee of ₹200 per team. The team members must be from the same school / branch. No cross teams are allowed for registration. Visit www.thehindu.com/ywquiz for details and registration. The contest will begin at 10 a.m. for the juniors category and 2 p.m. for the seniors category. Teams should arrive at the venue — in school uniforms carrying IDs issued by their respective schools — one hour before the start of the event. There will be preliminary written rounds and six teams will qualify (based on the marks obtained in the preliminaries) for the on-stage final rounds.
