Police from four other States want to know to whom they supplied explosives

Teams from Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS), Hyderabad police, Bihar police and Rajasthan ATS have arrived in Bengaluru to question four suspects of an alleged Indian Mujahideen (IM) module arrested by the city police last week.

With investigators claiming that the module had supplied explosives for several blasts across the country, the teams from other States are probing if the men had any links with blasts in their respective jurisdiction. A senior officer said, in most probes in such cases, the source of explosives was not mentioned in the charge sheet.

He said if the interrogation of the suspects revealed their involvement, the four men could be made co-accuse in multiple terror cases across the country. Meanwhile, city police picked up the fifth suspect, Abdullah, from a flat in BTM Layout based on information provided by those arrested earlier.
