Supplementary students can enter options till August 6

Only 1,021 students of the 4,725 who became eligible in 2013 II PU supplementary exam verified their original documents, according to a press release from the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Candidates can enter their priority of options till 9 p.m. on August 6.

Out of 9,227 seats that remained after the end of the second extended round of counselling, the number of seats available for the special round for supplementary students is: 8,983 engineering, 16 architecture, two medical, 33 dental, and 93 farm sciences. As many as 100 seats are available for students from Jammu and Kashmir.

Second round

Meanwhile, diploma students have been asked to enter their priority of options from 11 a.m. on Monday to 10 p.m. on Tuesday for allotment of seats for engineering /technology and architecture courses under the lateral entry scheme.

Monday is also the last date for reporting to colleges, for students who have opted for medical, dental, engineering, architecture and farm science courses. This date was extended from the earlier July 31 deadline.
