People in low-lying areas spent all of Thursday removing water from their houses. Some residents in K.P. Agrahara and Shanthinagar had to use motors. Shanthinagar MLA N.A. Harris’s residence was also flooded.
Anepalya too was flooded, but fortunately the number of houses affected came down because the BBMP had removed the temporary bridge built across a storm-water drain, which eased the flow of water, officials said. — Staff Reporter
