A labour contractor has been arrested on the charge of sexually assaulting his 17-year-old daughter.
The incident came to light when the victim called the police control room and sought help. The North Division police, with the help of a NGO, rushed to her help.
According to the police, the victim is the daughter from the first wife of the accused. She was studying in Bihar and had come to visit her father.

The accused, also a native of Bihar, had settled in Bangalore and used to supply labourers for construction work. He had been staying in Bangalore for the last six years with his second wife.
Police nabbed the accused when he landed at the Bangalore International Airport from Delhi on Tuesday. He was subjected to medical examination while the Peenya police have booked a case of rape against him.
