Reward for tip on ATM assailant doubled

The city police have doubled the reward for anybody giving information about the assailant in the ATM attack case leading to his arrest. The reward now stands at Rs 10 lakh.

Police Commissioner M N Reddi said that they have been unable to track down the assailant despite multiple special teams working on the case.

Jyothi Uday (45), an employee of Corporation Bank, was assaulted inside an ATM kiosk on November 19, 2013. The attack was captured on CCTV cameras. The assailant is also suspected of being involved in a murder in Dharmavaram, Ananthapur district, Andhra Pradesh.
