K.S. Ravindranath, professor, Cardiology Department, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bangalore, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
He takes charge on July 14 and his tenure is for three years. He replaces Sriprakash K.S.
Confirming that he received the appointment order on Thursday, Dr. Ravindranath said as Vice-Chancellor, his focus would be on academic activities and research, as well as streamlining the exam system and the calendar of exams and results for the postgraduate courses.
