Passengers miss train as departure time changed

January 22, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:32 am IST - Bengaluru:

As many as 150 passengers scheduled to take the Garib Rath Express to Secunderabad from Yeswanthpur Railway Station missed the train as they got no information about a change in the departure time.

Sunanda Arul, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, South Western Railway (SWR), said that the departure time was changed from 7.15 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. from Wednesday.

While tickets issued by reservation centres reflected the new timings, passengers who bought tickets from the IRCTC website were affected, as they saw the old time on the website.
