There will be no power supply from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in the areas fed by E5 subdivision for carrying out preventive maintenance work. The areas affected are: Richards Town, parts of Oil Mill Road, Sadashiva Temple Road, parts of Kammanahalli Main Road, KSFC Layout, Kanakadasa Layout and surrounding areas.

Kristu Jayanti College, School of Management, is organising a panel discussion on ‘Make in India – Reinventing Skills in India’ on Saturday.

Raj Raghavan, Director and Country HR Leader, Amazon; Jason Samuel, vice-president – HR, TVS Motor Company Ltd., Winston DeRosario, Director, Grant Thornton, Raj Raj Kumar, Director and Site Leader, TE Connectivity are expert panel members. V.K. Varadarajan, former Chief of Bureau and Deputy Editor, The Hindu–Business Line , Bengaluru, is the moderator.

The event will be held at SKE Auditorium, Kristu Jayanti College premises, Hennur Road, Geddalahalli, at 11 a.m.

Presentation and installation function

V. Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, Industrialist and philanthropist, from Bengaluru, has been elected as District Governor of District 317E, Lions Club International. Mr. Reddy and his 101 cabinet members will be installed at the Cabinet Presentation function on Sunday at the Cabinet Presentation 2015-16. Bharathi Nagesh and G. Srinivas, will be installed as first District Governor and second district Governor respectively. Naresh Aggarwal, Second vice-president, Lions Club International is the chief guest and installation officer. The event will be held at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Hosur Road.
