Jump in calls to helplines

Several helplines in the State, including those set up by the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) have been getting numerous calls from harried students and parents after the two chemistry paper leaks took place last month.

Many of them are repeat callers, who keep enquiring about the April 12 chemistry re-exam, counsellors say. Many students are calling to express their anxiety and depression over exam stress.
