The Parappana Agrahara Central prison will soon get 4G mobile jammers, in place of the existing 2G jammers, to prevent illegal activities, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said here on Tuesday.

During a visit to the Central prison, Mr. Reddy inspected the premises and held interactions with the inmates. He also held discussions with the senior prison officials and suggested measures to improve the condition in the prison.

“I personally inspected each and every barracks and interacted with the inmates. No special treatment is being given to any inmate,” he said.
