Free CAT workshop (Not used)

Career Launcher, an edu-corporate company, will be hosting a free CAT (Common Admission Test) workshop on Sunday (October 11,) at Jyoti Nivas College at 10 a.m. The workshop will focus on the way to tackle questions in the new CAT format. Career Launcher’s expert faculty will be conducting a section wise analysis of Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC). Drive against faulty fare meters (Not used)

The inspection squad of Department of Legal Metrology on Wednesday conducted a drive against autorikshaw with faulty fare meters and booked cases against 100 autorikshaw owners/drivers. During the drive held at Kempegowda Bus Stand and Yesvantpur, 565 vehicles were inspected. The Department has said that the checking would continue in other parts of the city and cautioned the autorikshaw owners/drivers that stern auction would be taken if commuters are cheated. Job fair for senior citizens

Nightingale Empowerment Foundation is organising a job fair for elders on Saturday (October 10) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at R.V.Institute of Management, Jayanagar. Senior citizens aged between 60 and 70, physically fit and financially insecure are ecouraged to participate in the fair.
