If you are wildlife and nature photo lover, visit Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat between December 1 and 7. You can view award-winning and representative photographs of the 24 nations of the 17th International Federation of Photographic Art Nature Biennial Photographer World Cup held in Bengaluru recently. Apart from this, you could see the award-winning and selected photographs of the Federation of Indian Photography-Karnataka Tourism National level Photography contest.
As many as 450 photographs – over 350 photographs of World Cup contest and 100 photographs of Karnataka Tourism National-level contest – will be on display.
Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee will inaugurate the show on December 1. A host of dignitaries including internationally renowned nature and wildlife photographer T.N.A.Perumal and award winning wildlife film makers Krupakar and Senani will take part.

The exhibition will be open between 10.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. daily from December 2. A wildlife documentary film titled ‘Walking with Wolves’ made by Krupakar and Senani will be screened on December 6. Entry is free.
Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Organising Committee joint secretary C.R.Sathyanarayana said that the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) has got second opportunity to host World Cup contest in Bengaluru. In the international World Cup contest, 21 countries participated in the print section and Italy won the World Cup. India secured Gold Medal. Under projected images section, South Africa won the World Cup and India bagged Bronze Medal.
In the FIP-Karnataka Tourism Photography contest sponsored by Karnataka Tourism Department, over 200 Indian photographers sent around 1000 images pertaining to Karnataka under Nature and Wildlife, monuments, culture and heritage and tourist spots sections. Of them, over 100 select photographs will be displayed at the show, he added.
