Posing as Commercial Tax sleuths, two men robbed a woman working as marketing manager of a private company in S.J. Park of her gold chain on Tuesday.
The duo gained entry into Hi-tech Logistics (Q&Q watch distributors) when Chandini, a resident of R.T. Nagar, had just opened her office. She was alone at the time of the incident
Introducing themselves as officials from commercial tax, the duo asked her to come out since their senior officer wanted to talk to her.

Suspecting something fishy, Chandini refused to go out following which the duo assaulted her at knife-point and escaped with her gold chain worth Rs. 1 lakh.
The S.J. Park police who rushed to the spot found the CCTV footages in the office had captured the images of the attackers.
