Children’s contest on social media

With the objective of providing a platform for children to showcase their art and craft skills, Fevicol MR, the craft glue from Pidilite Industries, has announced the ‘Banao Kuch Shaandar’ contest on social media. The contest entails participants to make any artwork of their choice (like a famous monument for instance) using Fevicol MR, upload a photo of the same on the contest’s Facebook page and garner as many votes as possible.

Rahul Sinha, president, sales and marketing, Pidilite Industries said: “Arts and crafts can help children to develop socially and emotionally too. We believe that when kids are encouraged to pursue arts and give form to their ideas, they learn the value of self-expression. This contest is one such way to promote art and creativity.”

The contest is open till June 26th. Students of three age groups: 5 - 10 years, 10 - 15 years and 15 and above can participate. Every fortnight, five top scorers from each age group would be awarded with a Pidilite Gift Hamper. At the end of the contest, the best entry in each age group will be entitled to a 32 inch LED TV as the ‘grand prize’.
