Now there are prizes for cheering, if you are doing it for our own MOM (Mars Orbiter Mission).
On its Facebook page on Mars, the Indian Space Research Organisation offers exclusive collectibles as prizes for a few winning posts that uniquely profess their “love for MOM”.
The first entries from Indian nationals must be posted or tweeted by 2 p.m. on Sunday and the contest is open till September 23. Entries will be judged by the number of likes they get.

“Unleash your creativity. Show your love for MOM... with text, picture or videos cheering the Mars Orbiter Mission as we gear up for the Mars orbit insertion” of September 24, the latest update urges its followers.
ISRO, whose Mars mission has been basking in the positive push on the social media, has also created a Twitter tag, #CheerIndia2Mars .
In a crucial operation, ISRO plans to put the spacecraft, now nearing Mars, into an orbit around it on the morning of September 24.
