Cheating case against Kannada actor Diganth

Kannada film producer Karan has alleged that actor Diganth had refused to give a call sheet for his upcoming film after taking Rs. 5 lakh advance amount.

In his complaint lodged against Diganth with the Kannada Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) , Karan alleged that the actor had taken Rs. 5 lakh in advance of the total remuneration of Rs. 25 lakh fixed for the actor. After receiving the advance amount the actor started avoiding his calls, Karan alleged, and said later he (Diganth) asked him to increase his remuneration to Rs. 45 lakh.

Meanwhile, the KFPA President Soorappa Babu acknowledged that it has received the complaint and hoped to solve the issue soon.
