Continuing investigations into the death of IAS officer D.K. Ravi, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials visited the house of his father-in-law Hanumantharayappa and recovered the digital video recorder (DVR) containing CCTV footage.

Although the CBI officials spoke to Mr. Hanumantharayappa, no official enquiry was conducted.

The officials wanted to analyse the CCTV footage which captured Ravi's activities during the days before his death.
