A cab company has initiated a step to ensure safety of women in cabs following the incident where a woman passenger was raped by a cab driver in New Delhi.
Ola, a mobile application-based cab company, will launch a service in Bengaluru where women passengers can ask for cabs driven by women, said a press release.
Called “Ola Pink”, the app is at present in beta mode and is available in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune and Ahmedabad too.
