BMTC extends Chakra services

The BMTC intends to extend the service in a phased manner to address first and last mile connectivity

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) recently introduced Chakra (round-trip) feeder services from three centres — Banashankari TTMC, Vijayanagar TTMC and City Civl Court.

The Corporation intends to extend this service across the city in a phased manner to address the first and last mile connectivity. These routes are catered to by BMTC’s Midi Buses. The newly introduced routes are,

Chakra 3 and 3A: Banashankari TTMC to Banashankari TTMC via Dayananda Sagar College, Kumaraswamy Layout, ISRO Layout, Vasanthapura, Uttarahalli, Channasandra, BEML Layout, Rajarajeshwari Temple, Pantharapalya (Nayandahalli), PES College, Kathriguppe, Kadirenahalli in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

Chakra 4 and 4A: Vijayanagar TTMC to Vijayanagar TTMC via Srinivasanagara, Malagala, BDA Complex, Annapoorneshwarinagara, D Group Layout, Muddinapalya, Vidyaniketan School, Mallathalli Cross, Papareddy Palya, Nagarabhavi 2nd Stage, Nagarabhavi Circle, Chandra Layout in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

Chakra 6 and 6A: City Civil Court to City Civil Court via K.R. Circle, Corporation, Mission Road, Urvashi Theatre, Shanthinagara, Richmond Circle, Mayo Hall, Shivajinagar Bus Station, Indian Express Circle, Vidhana Soudha and K.R. Circle in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
