The Baldwin Group of Schools was found to be violating directions of the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR) and was ordered to stop selling books and stationery through a particular vendor.

An Education Department official said that the vendors were selling books in a hotel and collecting demand drafts from parents.

“As soon as we entered the hotel, the vendors fled from the spot,” an official said.
