The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday sent the three charges, framed originally in Tamil against AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa and others in the disproportionate assets case, to the Directorate of Translations, Government of Karnataka for translating them into English.

Justice C.R. Kumaraswamy issued the direction after counsel for Ms. Jayalalithaa argued that the translation of charges from Tamil to English was not done properly before the trial court.
