Alert residents catch robbers in Bangalore

Alert neighbours caught a gang of four men who tried to rob a techie while she was entering her house in Whitefield on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred when Neelima was entering her house after she had gone alone to an ATM nearby to withdraw money. The gang followed her back to her house and overpowered her in a bid to rob her cash.

Neelima raised alarm for help, following which neighbours rushed to her rescue and managed to nab them. The accused were soundly thrashed and handed over to the police. The Whitefield police have taken them into custody and are questioning them.
