The Bengaluru International Airport will be renamed Kempe Gowda International Airport on December 14, according to a statement from BIAL. The renaming of the airport will coincide with the inauguration of the airport’s Terminal 1A by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh.The Union Cabinet in July this year approved the renaming of the airport.
