A 25-year-old software engineer was killed when a speeding goods vehicle knocked him down on GS Palya service road in Electronics City on Wednesday. Ramesh, employee of Tech Mahindra, was on his way home from work. He was crossing the road to board a cab when the incident occurred.
Passers-by chased and caught the goods vehicle driver who was trying to flee after the accident. He was thrashed and handed over to Electronics City traffic police.
