Students aspiring for a seat through the Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling under special category will not be able to avail the benefit.

On Thursday, the Karnataka Examinations Authority put up three separate lists of students who cannot avail benefit as they have not indicated this in their online application form. This includes 15 candidates under the sports quota, six in the physically disabled category and 20 under the NCC category. “Although the students got their documents verified, they are not eligible to avail benefits under these categories as they had not opted for these categories while applying,” an official from KEA said.
