The body of an eight-year-old boy, Abdul Nawaz, who was missing since Sunday, was found on Monday at Chinnasandra under Chintamani Rural police limits in Chickballapur district. His throat was slit open with a sharp weapon and his body was traced in a sump in the village.
Hailing from Kolar, Nawaz was studying in a madrasa in the village. Noushad and Shama, parents of Nawaz, had admitted him to the residential madarasa. Chintamani Rural police are investigating.
