KSSTA felicitates students

The Karnataka State Secondary Teachers' Association (KSSTA) felicitated over 350 students, who are children of schoolteachers from Bangalore North district, here on Saturday for securing above 85 per cent in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination.

Educationist Gururaj Karajgi said, “Securing good marks should not be the only goal for students. One must learn to live and help others.”

S. Muniraju, Dasarahalli MLA, said, “Education must instil moral values.” He urged students to help convert India into a strong, developed nation.

Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC and organisation secretary of KSSTA, said that there were no shortcuts to success.
