It was a wet Tuesday for Bangaloreans as light drizzles and moderately heavy rain occurred all day long due to the low pressure area near Tamil Nadu.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the city received 15.1 mm rainfall on Tuesday, with the temperature hovering around a minimum of 19 degree Celsius and the maximum around 24.4 degree Celsius.

The department has predicted more spells of rain and cloudy weather for the city in its forecast till December 6. A similar reading applies for the rest of the State as the IMD has said that rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over south interior Karnataka and at a few places over coastal and north interior Karnataka.

In Bangalore, despite experiencing drizzle on Monday night, citizens were caught by surprise on Tuesday. “It had rained yesterday as well, but I’d forgotten my umbrella at home, so I ended up getting stuck in the rain again,” said Poorvi, a resident of Cox town.
