Blast victim was on vacation in Bengaluru

Neighbours of Bhavani Devi, who was killed in the bomb blast in Bengaluru on Sunday night said she was as an affable and quiet person. She was a housewife and had been residing with her husband Balan and children in 2nd lane, Poobegum Street, Border Thottam for the last eight months. Her husband Balan runs a tyre shop.

Bhavani and her two children had gone to her relative's residence in Bengaluru last week for the holidays. On Sunday night, Balan informed his landlord that Bhavani had been injured and that he was leaving to Bengaluru immediately. Sometime later, the neighbours saw the news on TV and were shocked to know Bhavani was killed in a blast.
