A 57-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit -and-run incident late Friday night.
The deceased, B. Raja Reddy, was a resident of Agrahara here.
According to the police, the accident took place around 11 p.m. when Mr. Reddy was crossing the road near Mahindra showroom, opposite Rupena Agrahara. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. John’s Hospital where he was declared on arrival.The police have obtained CCTV camera footage of the area, which they hope will help them identify the vehicle and its driver.
