45-year-old bludgeoned to death

A 45-year-old woman was bludgeoned to death in a farm house in Soladevanahalli on Monday.

The deceased, Siddagangamma, had gone to graze the cattle in Danish farm on Monday morning. Some employees noticed her body in a pool of blood and alerted the police.

The police rushed to the spot and conducted investigations. A severe blow could have killed her instantly, a senior police officer said.

The valuables including the

mangalya, anklets and silver toe-rings were intact. “We are not ruling out the possibility of sexual attack and waiting for the post-mortem report, the police said.
