45 rushed to hospital after consuming payasam at a Ganesh pandal in Bangalore

About forty five persons including children in Frazer Town were rushed to Bowring Hospital late on Wednesday night as they fell ill after consuming payasam distributed at a Ganesh pandal.

While most of the patients, who are residents of Lazer Road in Frazer Town, were treated as outpatients, around 20 of them including children were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Hospital authorities said all the patients are in a stable condition and would be discharged soon.
