‘No interference in Mysuru case’

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah categorically ruled out political interference in the Mysuru incident, where Deputy Commissioner C. Shikha has filed a complaint against K. Mari Gowda, said to be his aide. “Ms. Shikha is an honest and good officer. Do you think she would have continued in Mysuru had she felt insecure?” he asked the Opposition. Noting that Mr. Gowda had, in fact, worked against him during elections, he said law would take its own course in connection with the case filed by Ms. Shikha.
