Workshop for engg. aspirants on January 22

The Hindu in association with Manipal University is conducting a workshop on ‘choosing the right branch in engineering’ for the intermediate students of all disciplines.

After the presentations, there will be a question and answer session where participants can clear their doubts interacting with senior executives from various industries. Entry for the session is free and students can avail the opportunity by taking part in the programme along with their parents.

RINL Executive Director (marketing) R. Shankar will speak on ‘Prerequisites for pursuing core branches of engineering, while CEO of Symbiosys Technologies O. Naresh Kumar will talk on ‘The road ahead for engineering entrepreneurs’ and president of Vizag Information Technology Association and director of Acclaris Deepak Madala will explain about ‘Skill sets required for those aspiring for IT related streams, opportunities and challenges in IT industry.’ The programme is scheduled for Thursday at Kalabharathi auditorium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interested candidates can register themselves by contacting
