Visakhapatnam North MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju participated.

As a part of readying the city for the prestigious International Fleet Review (IFR), renewal of roads has been taken up. A total of about 60-km stretch of road spending about Rs.60 crore is taken up. As a part of it, shoulders of roads are being made part of the road. Generally the shoulders are left uncovered gathering dust in them. Now the renewal covers them with toe drains to carry the rainwater.
