Weekly train to Secunderabad to clear rush of passengers

The services will be available between Nov. 2 and Dec. 1

In an attempt to clear the passenger rush, the East Coast Railway will operate a weekly special train between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

Train no. 08521 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam Station at 10.50 p.m. on Saturdays between November 2 to 30 and it will reach Secunderabad on at 12 noon the next day.

In the return direction, 08522 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special express will leave Secunderabad at 4.30 p.m. on Sundays from November 3 to December 1 and it will reach Visakhapatnam at 4.50 a.m. on the next day.

Halts

These trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Rayanapadu, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad in both the directions. These trains will have a II-tier AC, three III-tier AC coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, three general class coaches and two second class-cum-luggage vans.
