VVIP lounge at airport inaugurated

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a VVIP Lounge, constructed at a cost of ₹50 lakh, at Visakhapatnam International Airport on Tuesday.

The lounge, constructed in a 4,200 square foot plinth area, has central air-conditioning, a provision to hold meetings with 300 delegates, CM’s chamber, an ante room, pantry and toilets.

He interacted with representatives of the party, who came to meet him, after inaugurating the lounge. He felt that review meetings can also be held in the lounge without any hassles.

Women of Thadi village presented representations to the Chief Minister seeking shifting of the Pharma companies as severe pollution was affecting their health. The Chief Minister promised to do justice to them.

Deputy Chief Minister N. China Rajappa, Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Bhuma Akhilapriya, MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, MLCs MVVS Murthy and Pappala Chalapathi Rao, MLAs Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, Palla Srinivas and Peela Govind Satyanarayana, Zilla Parishad chairperson Lalam Bhavani and Collector Pravin Kumar were among those who were present.

The Chief Minister felicitated the officials of the Housing Department, who had completed construction of the lounge in a record time.
