US Coast Guard award for DCI

Dredging Corporation of India has received Amver award from Consulate General of USA located at Hyderabad.

Amver awards are given to those companies whose ships actively participate in the Amver (Automated Mutual-Assistance Vessel Rescue System), a worldwide voluntary reporting system sponsored by the United States Coast Guard. It is a computer-based global ship reporting system used worldwide by search and rescue authorities to arrange for assistance to persons in distress at sea.

The award was received by Rajesh Tripati, Chairman and Managing Director of DCI from Consul General Katherine B. Hadda. DCI Director (Finance) S. Charles and Director (Operations and Technical) M.S. Rao were present.

The dredgers owned by the DCI actively participate in the Amver System and help in the search and rescue of vessels in distress.
