Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts of North Coastal AP on Saturday and Sunday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at isolated places across coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
On Friday, rain occurred at most places in Rayalaseema and at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh while isolated places in Kadapa, Chittoor, and Anantapur and Krishna districts experienced heavy precipitations.

The chief amounts of rainfall (recorded in cm) in the last last 24 hours ending 8.30 a.m. on Friday, are: Nuzvid (Krishna) 7 cm , Avanigada (Krishna) 6 cm, Mundlamuru (Prakasam) 6 cm, Vinjamur (Nellore) 6 cm, Vijayawada Airport (Krishna) 5 cm, Repalle (Guntur) 5 cm, Bestavaripeta (Prakasam) 4 cm, Chintapalli (Vishakhapatnam) 4 cm, Yerragondapalem (Prakasam) 4 cm, Cumbum (Prakasam) 4 cm, Tenali (Guntur) 4 cm, Veligandla (Prakasam) 3 cm, Elamanchili (Vishakhapatnam) 3 cm and Tuni (East Godavari) 3 cm.
