Aiming at a massive revamp of implementation of Government programmes, District Collector V Seshadri set a target of 100 days, starting November 1, for different departments to review and revamp the systems.
As the Centre proposed to take broadband to all villages, the Education, Health and Medical, Social Welfare, Housing and Rural Water Supply departments should set up web-based monitoring of the operations of the field units, he told the officials at a review meeting here on Thursday.
He asked the Education Department officials to set up web-cameras in all the high schools in Pendurthy mandal, which would be the first to get all broadband connectivity, to monitor the attendance and performance of the teachers.

He directed the Education Department to ensure that there was no shortage of furniture in the schools and also introduce spoken English classes for students.
He asked the officials to utilise the funds from CSR and Rajiv Vidya Mission for providing and improving facilities in the Government schools.
The Collector directed the officials of the Medical and Health Department to install webcameras in all the primary health centres to monitor their functioning.

He directed the officials to review the system every fortnight and ensure that by the end of 100 days there is a significant change in the implementation of Government welfare schemes.
